Welcome to the Allports fish & chips web site, as you have taken the time to find us please allow me to give you a small incite into our own family business and hopefully very soon we will be serving up some of the nations favorite especially for you.

John and I purchased
our first shop in Porthmadog back in 1988 and built up a reputation
that is second to none, we have won numerous awards, our top accolade
being 'best throughout Wales twice for the best fish and chip shop
of the year.

| Then in 1999 we started work on our second shop in Pwllheli, which was completely renovated and opened in July 2000. As well as the traditional takeaway we have a cafe which can seat up to 35 people, in here we not only serve the best fish and chips but also great coffee! We entered our new shop into the fish and chips shop of the year competition in July 2001 exactly 1 year after the doors opened and guess what? We are off to London in November for the best in the UK so watch this space! |

Our Shops are kept to an extremely high standards which is shown in our achievements in winning the seafish industry authority award. To earn and keep the award the shop is given unannounced visits, where all aspects of hygiene, safety and product are inspected and marked. So when you see the award you know that the shop you are visiting is of excellent standard, and serve only the very best fish and chip.

Our shops are all air-conditioned and nonsmoking. Pwllheli cafe offers full disabled access and we can easily accommodate wheelchairs, we also have baby changing facilities. |

Children are well catered for too, with their very own menu, crayons and pictures, and a goodie bag when they leave. |
We also cater for all types of parties not just children's parties, just drop us a line or e-mail us and we will do everything to ensure you enjoy your special occasion.
Parking is easy, both shops are only yards away from large car parks.
